Sept. 28 – Oct. 19

Hello,

I will be traveling for the next month so I am unable to record the weekly lectionary readings. Please accept my apology for this break in service but I have a new great grandchild that I have yet to meet in person. I wish he were closer but we have to travel across the country to see him.

I will return home at the end of October and hope to resume recordings starting with the last weekend in October. In the mean time you can check out the lectionary listings available on the Episcopal Church Lectionary page.

Thank you for listening.

Third Sunday after Pentecost, June 29

I will be traveling all this week so the recordings will resume next week.

The Collect: Almighty God, you have built your Church upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone: Grant us so to be joined together in unity of spirit by their teaching, that we may be made a holy temple acceptable to you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

The Collect: O God, who wonderfully created, and yet more wonderfully restored, the dignity of human nature: Grant that we may share the divine life of him who humbled himself to share our humanity, your Son Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
